The much-anticipated second edition of Bharat Tex 2025 is set to be inaugurated by the Union Minister for Textiles, Shri Giriraj Singh, on February 12, 2025, at Expo Mart, Greater Noida. India’s RMG exports have shown double-digit growth, with a cumulative increase of 11.6% from April to December 2024-25 compared to the previous year. Strong Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), supportive state policies, and new measures from the Union Budget 2025-26, such as credit support for MSMEs and customs duty rationalization, have further bolstered the industry.
“Government initiatives, including the negotiation of tariff and non-tariff barriers and regulatory reforms, have strengthened India’s position as a reliable global textile hub,” added Shri Sekhri.
